The Daydream VR Headset is very very cheap to buy. you simply put your supported (or unsupported phone if you have root and installed the Magisk Module "Daydream VR Service installed on the unsupported phone) on the headset
This particular VR Headset was made by Lenovo, its called the Lenovo Mirage Solo, Its basically Daydream but more VR-Immersive adding 6DoF Support (WorldSense) and without needing a phone, it has a customized version of Android Oreo 8.0 or AOSP and the kernel source code is avaliable Kernel Source Code Link, A GitHub User named BridgeBrain is making a project to reconstruct the entire OS!, its called NightGaunt
The VR Enviorment is also compatible with Google Cardboard!, but the controller and the touch keyboard isn't avaliable
